Latest Activities of the Transfer of Knowledge and Technology

The project is targeted at the development of a common transfer strategy for several Leibniz institutions (IPF, IFW and FZD) working in the field of material research. Based on this approach, specific innovative transfer support measures shall be developed and tested exemplarily. This shall serve the primary objective of increasingly initiating SME-cooperations by means of awareness-raising measures in order to sustainably strengthen the region by means of the establishment of the Dresden Leibniz institutions.

The IPF has successfully applied for a Leibniz application laboratory. Particularly the application-oriented fields of research of the branch institute Polymer Materials have their joint appearance under the topic „Multifunctional Polymer Materials“. The project focuses on the topics of elastomers nanocomposites and electron-induced reactive processing.
