People and opportunities

As an employer, the IPF is committed to the principles of Human Resources Excellence in Research and the Diversity as an Opportunity Charter. The institute stands for gender equality and equal treatment of people with disabilities and is certified as a family-friendly employer according to the Audit berufundfamilie®.
Young scientists are supported in all training and career stages. For this purpose, the institute is closely linked to the Technische Universität Dresden, e.g. by joint professorships and so called TUD Young Investigators, i.e. young IPF researchers who are integrated into the appropriate faculties at the TUD.
The teams at the IPF are international and interdisciplinary, and they are involved in numerous regional, national and international research networks.
Outstanding young researchers find excellent conditions to establish their independent research group.
