Abstract
|
Prussian blues (PB) are well-known due to their interesting electrochemical, photophysical, and magnetic properties. Nanoscale magnetic particles can be used for creation of high-density information data storage devices and for quantum-computing applications. Here we report on the synthesis of water soluble negatively charged PB nanoclusters protected by an excess of hexacyanoferrate anions and on the method to selectively deposit them along adsorbed individual polycation poly(methacryloyloxyethyl dimethylbenzyl ammonium chloride) molecules.<br /><br />Joint PMSE/POLY Poster Session: General Papers/New Concepts in Polymeric Materials<br />The 227th ACS National Meeting, Anaheim, CA, March 28-April 1, 2004
