New Bachelor’s Students Join the IPF for Their Practical Training
We are delighted to welcome three new bachelor’s students to the IPF: Mirja Kallusch, Maja Knust, and Emily Pitschk are studying Biotechnology at the Duale Hochschule Sachsen in Riesa and will complete their practical training at the IPF as part of their dual study program. During their three-month practical phases, they will gain hands-on experience in different departments within the Division Polymer Biomaterials Science.
The dual study program combines academic studies at the Duale Hochschule Sachsen with practical training at the IPF. Following the transition from the Berufsakademie Sachsen to the Duale Hochschule Sachsen, applicants who have completed vocational training are now also eligible for admission to the degree program. Graduates receive an accredited bachelor’s degree that qualifies them to continue their studies in a master’s program.
