Quasi-living KCTP, NMP and efficient postmodification: tools for donor-acceptor block copolymers with high C60 loading
POLY 221 - The usefulness of donor-acceptor block copolymers as surfactants in blended bulk heterojunction solar cells is obvious: They prevent demixing and assure at the same time the long-term stability while maintaining good optoelectronic properties. Based on works by Kiriy, we employ a bifunctional initiator that allows Kumada Catalyst-Transfer Polycondensation and in a subsequent step Nitroxide-Mediated Radical Polymerization without further modifications. Into these materials, we introduce fullerenes with varying methods to guarantee high loadings and optimized reaction conditions.
