Review Article on Synthetic Biomolecular Condensates Published in Nature Nanotechnology

Dr. Ayala Lampel, IPF Fellow and researcher at Tel Aviv University, has co-authored a comprehensive review article in Nature Nanotechnology titled "Design and applications of synthetic biomolecular condensates”. The review explores the emerging field of designed biomolecular condensates—condensed-phase assemblies initially conceived to mimic cellular organelles. The authors present the main concepts behind the molecular design of synthetic condensates, from biological mimicry to purely synthetic approaches using peptide and DNA nanotechnology.
