  • application of atomic force microscopy (imaging, force spectroscopy) to various fields of research
  • main focus on quantification of mammalian and bacterial cell adhesion using single-cell force spectroscopy (SCFS)
  • development of techniques to increase the throughput of SCFS experiments
  • establishment of an AFM service platform
