A banquet for everyone: IPF at “Dresden is(s)t bunt”

This year’s banquet “Dresden is(s)t bunt” once again transformed an entire square into a lively place of connection. With 282 tables and around 6,000 guests, the event brought together people from across Dresden in a shared celebration of community and diversity.

The IPF also took part with a dedicated culinary contribution. A dozen colleagues prepared homemade specialties from around the world, including South African bunny chow, sausage rolls, French cherry clafoutis, and more. The dishes reflected the spirit of the event: celebrating diversity and bringing people together through shared experiences.

For younger visitors, a special highlight was the opportunity to make their own slime balls on-site with PV glue.

We would like to thank our colleagues at IPF for their enthusiasm and support, as well as the organizers — Cellex Stiftung, AWO Sachsen, CSD Dresden e. V., and Dresden – Place to be! — for making this wonderful event possible. It was a great reminder of how important it is to bring people together.
