On June 18, the IPF received its sixth audit berufundfamilie certificate with distinction. The certificate is recognized as a quality seal for employers that strategically promote the compatibility of work, family, and personal life.

Corina Christen, Head of the Project and Association Development Unit at Charta der Vielfalt e. V., and Oliver Schmitz, berufundfamilie Managing Director, presented the certificate during the 28th certificate ceremony of the berufundfamilie Service GmbH. Dr. Petra Welzel, Deputy Equal Opportunities Officer at the IPF, accepted it on behalf of the institute.

The IPF has participated in the audit berufundfamilie since 2009 and was first certified in 2010. The renewed certificate with distinction recognizes the IPF’s sustained commitment to a family- and life-phase-oriented human resources policy.

Prior to the renewal, the IPF successfully completed the audit’s dialogue procedure for long-standing participants. The procedure serves to maintain established standards while identifying areas for further development. The next review is scheduled to take place in three years.
