State Secretary Prof. Dr. Heike Graßmann Visits IPF
On September 2, Professor Dr. Heike Graßmann, State Secretary at the Saxon State Ministry of Science, Culture and Tourism (SMWK), visited the Leibniz Institute of Polymer Research Dresden (IPF) to learn about the institute’s current research activities and future plans. She was accompanied by Dr. Tim Metje, Head of the Department for Institutes of the Leibniz Association and State Institutes (SMWK), and Dr. Frank Möller, Officer in the same department.
Following a discussion with the Board of Directors, the visit continued with a guided tour of selected laboratories, where current projects and activities of the IPF were presented. The presentations highlighted the institute’s strong commitment to transferring the results of fundamental research into scalable technologies.
