Teamwork Beyond the Lab: IPF at the REWE Team Challenge 2025
On May 28, the IPF participated in the REWE Team Challenge in Dresden — a popular after-work running event that attracts tens of thousands of participants each year. The institute was represented by 16 teams, with a total of 64 members, who joined over 30,000 runners on a 5-kilometer course through the city, from Postplatz to Rudolf-Harbig-Stadion. Despite a delayed start and heavy rain, our runners successfully completed the race, showcasing both dedication and team spirit.
The REWE Team Challenge has become a valued tradition at the institute, promoting not only physical activity but also a strong sense of community beyond the scientific environment. The IPF thanks all runners, supporters, and organizers, and looks forward to joining the event again in 2026.
