Abstract
|
Chemically coupled PTFE-polyamide compounds (PTFE-PA) are a new group of materials with advantageous properties for tribological applications. Because of the strong bond between the two polymers and the resulting high wear resistance, components produced from these materials have a longer service life than components produced from conventional compounds with a similar structure.
