Abstract
|
Polyelectrolytes offer a widespread potential for the defined modification of planar inorganic or polymer surfaces. Essential parameters for the regular adsorption of subsequent polymer layers by electrostatic interactions are the charge of polyelectrolyte and of the outermost surface region, the surface of the substrate, and the molar mass of the polyelectrolyte.
