Permanent change, adaptation, self-assembly and spatial inhomogeneity are the properties of living organisms which allow their efficient development, self-replication and regeneration. Stimuli-responsive polymers and particles are examples of synthetic adaptive systems. They attract permanently growing interest for biotechnology, regenerative medicine, design of smart coatings and sensors. Our group aims to develop area of biomimetic stimuli-responsive polymer-based materials with respect to their technical and biotechnological applications.
