Posters

Posters should be mounted on Tuesday morning at the latest and wil be up during the entire duration of the meeting. Poster display boards allow a format up to 1 m (width) x 1.4 m (height). Odd numbered posters should be presented on Tuesday, even numbered posters on Wednesday. 

Poster awards will be assigned to the most best poster presentations and will be handed over to the awardees in the last session of the meeting. 

Lunch bufetts

A fingerfood lunch bufett will be served right at the conference venue, close to poster displays and exhibition.

WLAN access will be available in the conference venue. For further details (access data) please ask in the conference office.

We do not give schedules here, as they change quite rapidly in Dresden due to constructions works, etc. If you need reliable and detailed schedules, please refer to the website of DVB.
In general, Dresden-Hauptbahnhof, Hörsaalzentrum and the recommended hotels have very well and rapid connections with each other with intervals of not more than 10 minutes from morning to late afternoon.

Arrival by car
There is no parking lot for participants close to the Hörsaalzentrum. Parking is possible to in the streets in the university campus behind, i.e. West, of the Hörsaalzentrum as long as there is free space.

Tickets for public transportation

You will get a congress ticket for public transport by bus and  tram (not suburban trains/S-Bahn) in the conference office that you can use within Dresden during the whole duration of the meeting.
The only tickets you would have to buy are those for S-Bahn from/to the airport and the one you would need immediatly after your arrival to get to the confernece venue.

A ticket for public transport within Dresden costs you EUR 1.80 and can be used for S-Bahn (suburban trains), buses and trams. It is valid for one hour after invalidation. "Einzelfahrt"

Tickets can be obtained through ticket machines which are available in the most important stops.
Also you have ticket machines in trams (only tickets for immediate use); and in busses you might also buy ticket at the drivers if you do not manage to buy them in advance.
