Maria Riedel

Maria Riedel is PhD student in the department of Polymer Structures working under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Brigitte Voit. The work is conducted within the cluster of excellence "European Centre for Emerging Materials and Processes Dresden" (ECEMP) in the subproject "MolFunc - Innovative Molecular Design for Multifunctional Composite Materials (A2)". Her project focusses on the synthesis of multifunctional block copolymers for the preparation of functional thin polymer films.

  • Block copolymer synthesis via controlled radical polymerization (RAFT)
  • Preparation and analysis of thin polymer films
  • Characterization methods: NMR spectroscopy, GPC, thermo-analytical methods, AFM
