About Postnova Analytics:

Postnova Analytics is the inventor of Field-Flow Fractionation (FFF) and offers a unique platform of based on its FFF technology. FFF was invented by Prof. Giddings back in 1966 at University Utah, USA, where he also founded FFFractionation Inc., in Salt Lake City in 1986. FFFractionation launched the world’s first FFF systems and has been a pioneer for the commercialization of Field-flow Fractionation. In 1995 Dr. Thorsten Klein developed the world’s first commercial Asymmetric Flow FFF (AF4) at Technical University Munich, Germany and founded Postnova Analytics in 1997. In 2001 Postnova acquired FFFractionation to create the sole complete system solutions provider in the area of FFF until today. Since 2003 Postnova is headquartered in Landsberg, Germany in the greater Munich area with Postnova USA located in Salt Lake City, USA, Postnova Northern Europe in Helsinki, Finland and a strong worldwide distribution network. Since 2011 Postnova has partnered-up with Malvern Instruments to provide world leading Field-Flow Fractionation – Dynamic Light Scattering solutions based on the Malvern Zetasizer Nano product range.

As an addition and extension to Malverns established GPC/SEC – Light Scattering technology, Postnova offers a broad range of FFF - Light Scattering solutions, which are ideally suited for gentle, high resolution and matrix-free separation and characterization of nano- and micro-particles, ultra-large molecules as well as cross-linked gels, which traditional chromatographic techniques cannot separate any more.
